These dynamic events are often caused by, or controlled by, experience based procedures. But this traditional approach is not always sufficient to prevent problems.
Determining suitable Operating Procedures is best achieved by using dynamic simulation techniques. The procedures can be prepared and then tested using simulation, so that incidents, downtime and hazards are avoided.
