Simulation models deliver off-line, non-intrusive diagnostics for most systems. They minimize downtime whilst delivering faster and more accurate fault/problem diagnosis.
Investigating by iteration or using 'what if' scenarios is fast, easy and avoids downtime. We have experience of a system that was dumping product once or twice a month at a cost of £250,000 each time. A study taking 4-6 weeks identified the problem and recommended design changes to prevent its occurrence. The payback was 'instant'.
Pipeline Simulation models can highlight bottlenecks and limits to capacity more quickly and more clearly than site measurements.
